Playstation Home; The Midway 2

This is the Midway 2. It's basically the same as the Midway, just with different games. And the games have funnier names, hahah. 

Karla's. You throw a ball at the target. The more you level up the smaller the target.

That's Karla up there and she taunts you the ENTIRE time you play.

Half Cocked; Paint the star completely.

Kitty Cannon; Use the cannon to shoot down targets.

Teed Off; Golfing. Make it through the barricades.

Bite Me; Hook fishes to win prizes.

Glue Factory; Use the squirt gun to move your horse across the line the fastest.

Swingers; Baseball game.

Blue Balls; Throw the ball in the bottles.

Pop Goes the Weasel; Using water shoot the target to make the balloon pop.

Miz Fortune; Same as the first.

Blue Balls is my favorite name, hahah. Anyway, if you earn rewards here then your points do go to Darla's Den as well. So earn some points or cheer on your friends. :P

As promised here's a post on Darla's Den. Darla's Den is the free apartment space you acquire by visiting the Midway. What's cool about this place is the more prizes you earn at the Midway (Both of them), the more stuff you unlock at the den. There's a board in the apartment.

Now yesterday I had told you all not to play Bell Ringer. Here's why; If you have a friend who has bought the key to unlock it in the apartment, you can just play unlimited in their space. This is what they key unlocks:

You pay $3.49 for the key and if you already have Trigger Happy in a Box the price reduces.

Playstation Home; The Midway

Ticket price: 0.99 for 50.

First thing I should say is I'm doing the apartment & Midway 2 in separate posts and I will link them on this post at a later date.

Welcome to the Midway!

I love the Midway. It's a carnival / fair kind of space with (in my opinion the best rewards). Even the music is on par. The downfall of this place is that you got to buy tickets. Well, you don't have to, you can wait until it says "Play [insert game name here] free for 1 minute." but everyone rushes and you have to wait your turn if the time doesn't run out. It's just easier to buy tickets or go late at night when the servers are a bit more dead.  Enough blabbing and on with the virtual tour.

To your left you'll see the tellers. This is where you can purchase tickets.

Up a little ways to the left is Darla's Darts and Meet Darla. Darla's Darts is exactly what it sounds like; pop the balloons win prizes. Meet Darla, I'm not sure if you can meet her or not. I've never seen her there and the hours when she comes back is always different.

Next to Darla's Darts is Spilt Milk. Throw the baseball at the bottles.

I should mention that next to every game is a prize board & the ones with checks are the ones you got. There's another huge prize board with all of the prizes further along. Pictured below.

Miz Fortune; match the color.

Everyone on Home says this is one of the hardest games to win. Basically you have to land on the color that she's holding. The higher the level, the faster the colors go goes. I reached level 10 easily and no one ever believes how I did it, hahah. When playing this game, close your eyes and hit the button, that's it. That's how I won so quickly in this game and in Miz Fortune 2 as well.

Frog Flinger; Get the frog on the lilly pad.

Next to Frog Flinger; another ticket booth.

Trigger Happy; Shoot at the targets win rewards

Fickle Flapper; land on the right color

Right in the middle of everything is High Roller; make your ball land on the right color.

Next to Fickle Flapper is Bell Ringer.

Bell Ringer; don't waste tickets on this game. You can play this for free if you have a friend who has bought the key for Darla's Den. I'll explain more in my Darla's Den post.

Ball Squeezer; Balance a ball on two sticks. I hate this game.

Rebound; Shoot hoops, win rewards. 

As you can tell there's a lot to do here. If you have any questions ask, but again, please don't ask about the apartment or The Midway 2 because I am making posts for them later tonight or tomorrow. Thank you.

Graphic Novels; The Walking Dead

In honor of the season finale tonight a quick rant or chat about the Walking Dead graphic novels. You can buy the books on Amazon like I did. ^^;
 

A lot of people say criticize that the comic isn't like the T.V. show. I disagree, they didn't change things completely. They added a few new characters and took some out. They switch things around a bit, but the same initial concept is still there. Besides, would you want it to be exactly like the graphic novel anyway? You'd know everything that was gonna happen & it would be kind of boring.  There would be no suspense for us readers. I'm glad they did what they did and there are some things us readers know V.S. people who just watch it on T.V. 
 

The show is amazing and almost about to start, so get your Walking Dead stickers at GetGlue and enjoy the show. I won't be watching it tonight, but I will see it tomorrow.

Mobile Game; Zombie Smash

Price: 0.99

This game to my knowledge is only on iPhone / iPod touch / iPad. I love zombie games. I looked in the Android Market & couldn't find it so I'm assuming a bit. 

This one reminds me of Plants VS Zombies. Same concept, protect your house! It's just a fun little game something to play while you're waiting or whatever. I feel like it did rip off PVZ a bit, minus the plants, of course. But it's still fun.

You get to take pics while playing the game and it goes in slow motion as you can see above. Anyway, go check it out if you like mindlessly killing zombies.  :)

The boyfriend & I. We were in some level that shrunk me. XD

This game is on my top 5 favorite video games. I recommend this game to everyone because it's that amazing. It's such a quirky and funny game. For those of you living under a rock the past few years it is online multiplayer. You play with up to 3 other people. 

So why is LBP so amazing? Because they put the level designing in your hands. People have come up with some of the most amazing levels I've ever seen. I've seen people create other video game levels. There's a Pac Man level that is just like the real thing. Along with a ton of shooters. Yes, there is a story to it, it's not long. The game focuses more on you being creative or exploring others levels. And on top of all that they release new downloadable content with levels and level kits so you can be even more creative with things. I love that they do this. The last one released was a Muppets level and level kit. 

PSN does have demos for both games, but honestly you won't get just how much fun this game until you play it online with other people. You get to slap people, drag people and kill them on purpose it's so fun, hahah.The game is playable for EVERY age too. It also has some of the funniest glitches at the most random times that make you WTF then bust out laughing.

I almost forgot to mention the costumes! There's so many. They have Final Fantasy costumes, Metal Gear Solid, Muppets, Toy Story, Pirates of the Caribbean and so much more.

Also your little Sackboy or girl is able to make happy, sad, angry & confused faces. There's so many reasons why this game is fun so go out and buy it. =D
